The term “our services” refers to our online vacation related services, and any of our other services offered from time to time through our website.

The term “vacation providers” refers to our partners providing you of accommodation (eg. hotels, hostels, bed and breakfast, etc.), air tickets, ferry tickets, and transportation.

Within the framework of your visit and browsing on WAT, and the use of the online vacation related services provided through our website, as well as other online websites (vacation providers’ websites) you may submit information and details of your Personal Data as well as additional information related to your upcoming vacation.

The primary reason we share your data is to supply the vacation providers with the relevant information to complete your vacation reservation. However, your data may be processed, without your prior explicit consent, for reasons of compliance with Greek and Community Laws and Regulations, and current personal data protection legislation (article 6 par. 1c of General Regulation on Personal Data Protection 2016/679/EU) as well as for statistical reasons and for reasons related to the proper operation of our website (article 6 par. 1f of the General Regulation on Personal Data Protection 2016/679/EU). At this point, we declare that our website is in line with Data Minimization Principal and thus we collect the minimum data possible to be able to provide our online services properly.

The personal data we collect and process include your full name, your email address, your date of birth, the number of your passport, your nationality, your gender, your contact details, your payment details, your country code. You will be asked to submit the same personal data of the people traveling with you. Moreover, you should submit additional information related to your upcoming vacation (eg. dates, arrival time, etc.). 

Additionally, we collect your IP address, search criteria, type of browsing program (a navigation program is the program you use to browse on websites, such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari), the times you access our website and for how long you were on it, your referring URL (the site you come from to reach our website), cell IDs (these are the unique identifiers of the telecommunications towers being used by your mobile phone when you use our locations-based services on your mobile phone or tablet) and other location information (for example, GPS measurements), and content you share with us when you use our online services, passwords or replies to security questions, etc.
